We put our own twist on the traditional ten frame for preschool and kindergartner math practice exercises and made an adorable lion shaped ten frame. You can paint our wooden balls cute and fun colors or even better, have your kiddos paint them! If you look closely you'll notice a face inside the circle of holes/wooden balls.
What is a Ten Frame?
The lion shaped ten frame is an early math learning tool that helps the early math learner by visually counting 1-10 and aids in simple addition and subtraction.
Children can visibly see what 2 + 2 equals and what happens when a number is subtracted. You can replace our wooden balls with marbles, acorns, raisons, candy, etc. for some extra sensory learning.
Tip: Purchase multiple sets of wooden balls. You can purchase additional sets HERE.
We include one (1) wooden ten frame and ten (10) wooden balls. Interested in purchasing additional balls? Click HERE. Please remember to supervisechildren at all times. Since this educational toy includes small parts, it's not recommended for children under 3.
