We are so excited to bring out our place value board. This is the way it works if you haven't seen our video reel on Instagram:

1.  Use a marble, colored wooden ball, or colored felt ball for the ones, a different one for the tens, a different one for the hundreds, and a different one for the thousands.

2.  Store them in the bottom open pocket.

3.  Use in conjunction with numbered flashcards, handwritten notecards, etc.

4.  For instance, for the number 1,256 the child would use one colored ball and place six of them in the ones slot. They would then use a different colored ball and place five of them in the tens slot, a different colored ball for the thousands and place two in the thousands slot, and finally, pick a different colored ball and place one in the thousands slot.

This board is great for tactile and visual learners.
