This unit study will be covering WWI, the roaring 20's, the stock market crash, the Great Depression, the Dust Bowl, and WWII. We will be reading from a variety of rich sources such as reference books, tons of engaging picture books, crafts, hands on activities, watching YouTube videos to bring the lessons to life, and watching movies.

Please note that in addition to the recommended books, there are also two recommended printables to go along with the guide. These are outside purchases and while it will enrich the lessons, they are not absolutely necessary.

Recommended age is 9+ (from the end of third grade and up). You know your child best though so please use your own discretion. You can always just do WWI, the roaring 20's, the stock market crash, The Great Depression, and the Dust bowl and wait to do WWII until a later time. 

There are 34 lessons, but please be advised that it will take longer than 34 days to complete. Some lessons will take multiple days to complete. If doing one lesson a day, it will still take approximately 2 months to complete. If you do 2-3 lessons a week, it will mostly likely take 3 months to complete.
