Even though this guide goes pretty in depth on the Japanese Internment Camps, I think it's well suited for all ages. All the way from lower elementary to high school. There's wonderful literature that you'll be reading from- both novels, non fiction text, and picture books based on first hand accounts from Japanese Americans who experienced the internment camps. There will be several book that we will be reading from; however, there are alternative read aloud options for those that don't wish to purchase the books or can't get them from the library.
